Peer review at eLife

This work was created for eLife, a non-profit organisation inspired by research funders and led by scientists. This artwork was designed to complement a series of articles discussing the method by which funding agencies, journals and universities review papers, grant applications and people.

The artwork demonstrates the process of consultative review where editors and reviewers consult with one another before sending out a decision after peer review, reducing the time spent responding to requests for revisions
